  1. Open the Minecraft Launcher on version 26.3.

    Not on 26.3?

    "Latest release" works while 26.3 is the newest. Otherwise: Installations → New installation → pick 26.3.

  2. Play → Multiplayer → Add Server.

  3. Paste the address, click Done.

  4. Double-click the server to join.

Install the mods (optional)

One import adds voice chat, more FPS, the new food textures, a recipe viewer, inventory sorting and a clickable class talent tree (/class tree or J).

Download modpack

  1. Install the free Modrinth App or Prism Launcher.
  2. Modrinth App: + → From file → pick the .mrpack. Prism: Add Instance → Import.
  3. Sign in and launch the new instance.
No launcher app? Install by hand
  1. Run the Fabric installer, pick 26.3, click Install.
  2. Download Fabric API, Simple Voice Chat and Reg's More Foods. Optional: Sodium for FPS.
  3. Put the .jar files in your mods folder. Windows: Win+R → %appdata%\.minecraft\mods
  4. In the Minecraft Launcher, pick "fabric-loader-26.3" and Play.
Just want one mod?

Don't need the whole pack? Grab a single mod's jar instead.

Claude SMP Talent Tree
The clickable /class tree screen (J) and the spell bar next to your hotbar (U). Needs the Fabric installer and Fabric API (see above). Download jar
Voice chat (optional)

Hear players near you, quieter the further away they are. It needs the Simple Voice Chat mod: install the mods, then press V in game to set up your mic.

New foods look wrong?

The server adds 200+ foods, but can't send you their textures. The modpack includes them. On plain Minecraft:

  1. Download "Reg's More Foods Pack" from its Modrinth page and unzip it.
  2. Keep the "Resourcepack" zip inside, still zipped.
  3. Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder, drop it in, then move it to Selected.
Can't connect?
"Unknown host" or it won't connect
Try the backup address, port included: eu-de-p59-a6-cg.kineticpanel.net:25566
"Outdated client" or "Incompatible version"
Your game isn't on 26.3: see step 1.
Voice chat says disconnected
Press V → Settings and check your mic. School or work Wi-Fi and some VPNs block it.
Still nothing
The server may be restarting. Ask Joe.
